okay, so one of my favortie past times is writing top 10 lists of random things...heres one for today.
Top 10 reasons I know I'm getting Old
10. My body aches when the weather changes
9. I can sing along to most of the bad music they play in Elevators
8. I was called "m'ame" by someone working at Old Navy
7. Greta says " Mommy you're too big to play in forts"
6. I remember the day I signed up for my first e-mail account...in the LCI library
5. All of my wedding pictures were taken with a 35mm camera...no digital action.
4. I could easily go to bed at 10 every night and be perfectly happy
3. I no longer feel appropriate wearing any form of skate shoes...not that I want to really.
2. I feel like a bit of a pedophile because I'm a little too excited for Zach Efron to play Rhen in the Footloose re-make

5 years
So, we recently celebrated our 5th Anniversary on Dec. 19. Hard to believe its been 5 years already, even harder to believe we have 2 kids, a house, a lot of school debt, and a surviving plumeria plant to go along with those 5 years.Dick made me the most beautiful wood carving of our family as a gift, it is truly stunning. He used half of each of our faces, and his dental tools to create it, not to mention he did it all during exam time. I am constantly amazed, and sometimes disgusted( in a good way) at the broad rage of his talents. He can create so many amazing things with his hands, and has been blessed with an intelligent mind to retain more knowledge than I could ever even think of. And I would literally be in a psych. ward if he wasn't such a great father and help with the kids at home...he is truly a wonder and I am very lucky to have him as my husband and best friend.

blog day 2
okay, so i'm a blogging imbecile so to speak. i have no clue whats what on this thing, but I found this background and managed to add a picture so i figure i'm doing well for day 2. i think i'll use this more like a journal, and then i might actually enjoy writing one.
in other news...i'm afraid i'm starting to become one of those moms other people look at in the stores and go...man can't she get it together?
I leave the house with a soggy toque over my greasy hair, throw on whatever pants dont have spit up on them, and pray that i can get out of the house alone before on of my kids starts whining for me. Then while i'm gone I ask random people questions about my purchases not so much for their opinion, but more so that I can have an interaction with a grown up for a few minutes...then I realize they're staring at my black make-up smuged under my eyes from Sunday( the only day I wear make-up) and are thinking... how pathetic.
New years resolution #347... dont leave the house unless I look appropriate enough to blend in with the rest of the Non-stinky-unstylish-desperate for an escape- humans out there, unnoticed.
